The Anchor Gathering

By Like Media Team
Grief built The Anchor Gathering. After her daughter Karina died at 19 from leukemia, Katie Robertson found comfort in a framed photograph of her at a Young Life camp, taken years earlier by Gig Harbor photographer Suzanne Lane, who had never met her. The first gathering met in a net shed at Arabella's Landing in March 2012, sixty women strong. The name came from an anchor pillow in her living room and Hebrews 6:19, hope as an anchor for the soul.
What started in Gig Harbor has reached 81 cities, with more than 100 active leaders and monthly broadcasts drawing 800,000 views across 30 countries. Headquarters now sits near the Narrows Airport, with five regional hubs and a first Nashville gathering ahead.
“The Lord met me in my darkest season and gave me hope when I thought I couldn't go on,” Katie says.
New episodes release monthly, October through June. Watch Party hosting details are at TheAnchorGathering.com under Get Involved.
