Relax … While They Take Care of You!

Pierce County’s number one car wash service

By Jillian Chandler

At 16 years old, Corey Campbell did what most high school students do—he got a job. But it wasn’t your average after-school restaurant or landscaping gig. Instead, Corey started his own small car-care service business, running a mobile car detailing service in Tacoma out of his car. This was just the beginning of what would become Corey’s lifelong career. In 1995, Classy Chassis Car Wash was born, and 25 years later, Corey’s passion has grown to become a true enterprise. Locally and family owned, Classy Chassis is now Pierce County’s number one professional car washing business!

Thirty-seven years later after his humble start, Corey is the proud—and successful—owner of 10 Classy Chassis car washes (including five full-service or exterior automatic tunnels, plus 24-hour self-serve, and automatic touch-free washes), two Havoline Xpress Lube Oil Centers, professional detailing and three Classic Coffee Drive-Thru & Cafes open under the Classy Chassis family of businesses, which in turn support over 80 team members today.

It has been Corey’s dream to acquire the Gig Harbor Great Wash Center for many years as he has advised and worked closely with all the previous owners. “It is truly a blessing to finally bring our Classy Chassis standards and operations to the community of Gig Harbor and the Peninsula,” he says.

“We are committed to providing the highest quality and the most complete range of vehicle care and appearance services to our customers.”

At Classy Chassis, they offer Monthly Unlimited Car Wash Plans that start at $21.99; membership includes free bonuses (interior packages!) as well as great discounts such as 20 percent off oil changes. “We sell gift cards that can be used at any of our car washes, oil change centers, coffee shops, etc., and they can be reused and reloaded online,” says Corey. They also offer an industry leading Fleet Card Wash Management Program. “This is free and helps ensure company or municipality vehicles are always clean and shiny, allowing owners/managers to track usage and customize spending limits via an online dashboard!” he adds.

The Classy Chassis family of businesses is committed to supporting the communities in which they operate. Throughout the year you can find them partnering with schools, athletic teams, community organizations, churches and other nonprofit groups to help fund the services and activities they provide.

“One of our most popular fundraisers we offer is called a ‘Take Over Event,’ where we donate 20 to 25 percent of all the company's proceeds brought in by an organization's supporters on a designated day!” states Corey proudly.

In continuing their commitment to community, Classy Chassis is dedicated to protecting the environment. They are honored to be a founding member of the Puget Sound Car Wash Association and nominee for the Tacoma-Pierce County Chamber’s 2019 Tacoma Business Environmental Award. “Our environmental efforts include recycling nearly 75 percent of car wash water, using nozzles and equipment that helps conserve water, and washing with environmentally friendly products,” affirms Corey. “Our Xpress Lube recycles oil to use for heating the building, and nearly 95 percent of materials used are recycled.”

Classy Chassis’ vision statement is "The Magic is in the Details”; team members strive to provide this by following the company values, which revolve around the core value of “Take pride in all we do”: • Provide exceptional service. • Build a positive team and family spirit. • Take responsibility for our community and environment. “Relax while we take care of you!”

If you’re looking for a local business that is committed to providing excellence to detail and guarantees satisfaction, Corey invites you to stop by Classy Chassis Car Wash, where you, and your car, will be in great hands.
