With a long, successful career in graphic design, real estate may not have seemed the next logical step for Tiffany Place. But her background in design cultivated an eye for detail and a creative vision for home-improvement possibilities. In the past three-and-a-half years since establishing Tiffany Place Real Estate with Windermere Real Estate Gig Harbor, Tiffany’s newest endeavor, with respect to her past, has given her the ability to market homes effectively with professional staging, professional photography and videos, professional graphics and advertising.
“My background in design enables me to provide my sellers with professional marketing and advertising of their property,” says Tiffany. “Prior to listing their home, I’m able to guide my sellers with home-improvement possibilities that will ensure top dollar for their home. I also provide complementary professional home staging and high-end photos and video tours that are essential in today’s market.”
Originally from Sarasota, Florida, Tiffany moved extensively throughout the South and Midwest during her childhood and young adult years before settling in the Pacific Northwest, when she accepted a job at a corporate graphic design firm in Seattle in 1999. Six years later, she and her growing family would move to North Tacoma’s Proctor District, where they resided for eight years. Today, and for the past seven years, they have called Gig Harbor home. “I’ve been living in my dream location and loving Gig Harbor!” shares Tiffany. “Every time I walk the harbor, I’m reminded of how lucky I am to live in such a beautiful city. I love our tight-knit community and how people are always willing to lend a helping hand.”
She is grateful to not only live here but run a successful agency, where she provides residential real estate services for both buyers and sellers. She finds fulfillment and inspiration each and every day through the career she has chosen, thriving on the new experiences and the diversity. “I love meeting new people and touring new listings. I find the process of guiding people through one of the biggest decisions of their life very rewarding,” Tiffany shares. “I get excited to write up a competitive offer, thrilled when we find out our offer was chosen and love handing over the keys to my client’s dream home—and knowing that I helped make that happen.”
With her friendly and easy-going attitude and her calming influence under pressure, Tiffany helps alleviate the stress—which is commonly associated with the home buying and selling process—for her clients, creating a positive experience for all parties involved.
In addition to serving her clients through her successful real estate business, Tiffany is the board president for Peninsula Hands On Art, a nonprofit providing art lessons to all of the elementary schools in the Peninsula School District. As part of Windermere Real Estate and in conjunction with the Windermere Foundation, a portion of the proceeds from every home purchased or sold using a Windermere agent—like Tiffany—go toward supporting low-income and homeless families in local communities. Now encompassing 10 states, the foundation has raised more than $41 million for programs and organizations that provide shelter, food, children’s programs, emergency assistance and other services to those who need our help most. Over the last 31 years, there have been over 430 organizations supported, and thousands of lives changed. Tiffany is proud to be a part of this wonderful and giving organization.
